Yeah, although I have a wii, I'm irritated that nintendo never tried to increase production. Although getting a Wii isn't as hard as you would think. Just ask any store that carries them when the shipments are coming in, then stop by whenever they said. Just make sure the date hasn't changed. Even easier, find a friend who works there to tell you. That's how I got mine. (back when they came out) Don't lose hope yet :)
The funny thing is that launch day for the Wii was the best day to find one. Since then demand has been so high that is has been almost impossible to find one. To make it even more difficult is hearing a few companies that have some shrewd practices on their stock of Wii's. But to say they have not increased production is dead wrong, they have increased to their maximum of 1.8 million a month. The demand not only in America is high, but the world demand is even higher.
